Graham Ling has over 30 years’ engineering experience.
He graduated from Sheffield University in Civil and Structural Engineering. After initial site training with Taylor Woodrow at Heysham Nuclear Power Station, he worked for Ove Arup & Partners in Birmingham on projects such as the National Exhibition Centre and Center Parcs (Sherwood Forest).
Transferring to Arup Associates in London, he joined the multi-disciplinary team on projects such as Lloyds Bank HQ, Bristol, and the Istanbul Cultural Centre, Turkey. Following a short period at Price & Myers where he was Principle Design Engineer on St John’s College, Oxford, he returned to Arup Associates as Project Engineer on Ustinov College, Durham University, and Watling House for British Land.
After 18 months on site as Resident Engineer at Arup Associates’ Imperial War Museum extension, he joined Andrew Greig to establish Greig-Ling in 1998.
Since then he has designed a wide range of projects from small-scale extensions, schools and furniture through to larger scale commercial projects such as the European HQ for Victoria’s Secret on New Bond Street.
